General
What areas of Cairns do you service?
We cover all of Cairns and Far North Queensland, including the northern beaches, the valley and city suburbs, and the Cassowary Coast. See our service areas for the full list, or call us and we’ll confirm your suburb.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We’re a QBCC-licensed, fully insured local business and a member of the AEPMA. Every treatment is carried out by a licensed technician, never a subcontractor.
Do you treat both homes and businesses?
Both. We offer residential treatments and commercial programs for hospitality, healthcare, strata and warehouses, with HACCP-ready reporting for audited sites.

Cairns pests
What is the most common pest in Cairns homes?
Cockroaches and ants top the list, followed by spiders, mosquitoes and rodents. The warm, humid tropics keep most pests active all year, not just over summer.
Why do I get so many cockroaches in the wet season?
Cairns’ wet-season heat and humidity are ideal breeding conditions, and heavy rain drives cockroaches indoors looking for shelter and food. A targeted cockroach treatment plus a residual barrier keeps them out through the wet.
How do I keep mosquitoes down around my Cairns home?
We treat resting and breeding zones — dense foliage, fence lines, under eaves and around water — with a residual barrier that knocks mosquitoes down and keeps working for weeks. Removing standing water between visits makes it last longer.
03
Safety
Are your products safe for kids and pets?
Yes. We default to low-toxicity, family-safe product systems applied by licensed technicians. We always brief you on re-entry timing and any pet, fish-tank or allergy considerations before any product comes off the van.
How long do I need to stay out after a treatment?
Most internal sprays only need a short dry time of around two hours. We give you exact re-entry timing for your specific treatment before we start.
I keep bees and have a veggie garden — is that a problem?
No — just tell us in advance. We choose products and application methods to protect beehives, edible gardens, ponds and fish tanks.
04
Treatments & cover
What if pests come back after a treatment?
Yes. Most general pest treatments come with a written 6-month complimentary service period. If covered pests return inside the period, we re-treat at no cost. The exact terms are on your invoice in plain English.
How long until the pests are gone?
Many pests drop off within 24 to 72 hours, with full knockdown over one to two weeks as baits and residuals do their work. Rodent programs run over two scheduled services. We’ll set expectations for your specific pest.
Do I need to prepare before you arrive?
Usually very little. For some treatments we may ask you to clear access to certain areas or keep pets away for a short time. We’ll tell you exactly what’s needed when we book.
Do you offer ongoing pest control plans?
Yes. Alongside one-off treatments we run scheduled programs — quarterly, biannual or custom — for homes and commercial sites that want year-round protection and priority booking.
05
Booking & pricing
How much does pest control cost in Cairns?
Every job is quoted in writing before we book, with no surprise fees or upsells. Pricing depends on property size, pest type and access. Request a quote or call for an exact figure.
How quickly can you come out?
Response times vary by suburb, season and job type, but we always give you an honest booking window. Active termites, wasp nests and commercial emergencies are slotted into our priority queue.
What are your opening hours?
We operate Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Weekends are available by request and may attract a call-out fee. Call 0432 229 104 and we’ll find a time that suits.
How do I get a quote?
Send a quote request or call 0432 229 104. A licensed technician reviews every enquiry personally and replies with an obligation-free written quote.
06
Termites
How often should I get a termite inspection?
In the Cairns wet tropics we recommend a professional termite inspection at least every 12 months, and more often for high-risk homes near rainforest or with a history of activity. See termite control.
Do you treat termites in old Queenslanders?
Yes — it’s our daily reality. We use thermal imaging and moisture meters to inspect bearer and joist timbers, then design a barrier or bait plan tailored to elevated stumps, hardwood frames and tropical soil moisture.
What are the signs of termites I should look for?
Watch for mud tubes on stumps or walls, hollow-sounding or rippled timber, sagging floors, doors that suddenly stick, and discarded wings near windows after rain. If you spot any, book an inspection before the damage spreads.
